Sealgair Ciara to the Point
Born December 2006 in the first breeding between Tiger MT Sirius & Boccala of Black Forest. She is a 64 lb black female full of muscle. She was born with natural point and was a solid pointer by 16 weeks of age. Ciara is a very intelligent dog who requires a trainer who can "think ahead of her". She is easily bored with drills and routine, and requires a lot of variety in her training routine. She is a very loving loyal pet and is loved by our 2 yr old, because of her gentleness around him.

Sirius is a calm patient solid pointer with a lot of drive. His steady gate allows for a full day hunt in the field. In the duck blind he is quiet and patient but attentive and ready to bound at a moments notice. He has been known to run and jump 10 ft up a rock and off the other side to simply retrieve a bumper. The same drive seen many times jumping high to grab wounded pheasant from trees. His steadiness on point has been a huge aid during guided hunts for novice hunters, allowing unlimited amounts of time for them to prepare for the flush. In South Dakota his logical approach to hunting cover proved to be invaluable to "lock in" and hold down the wild roosters. He is a 76 pd. gentle house pet who absolutely lives for the adrenaline high of upland birds.

AKC Bred training for Junior Hunter TitleShe was Born Dec. 2009. Her dam and sire are both APLA certified dogs and have multiple AKC & NAHRA titles. We rescued her from a non-hunting home, who decided they did not have the time needed to train her on basic obedience, and we introduced her to birds and retrieving at 1 year of age. Even without early training her instinct to hunt and retrieve was strong and she has made great advances her obedience and is well on her way to becoming certified in field testing. Currently she is being introduced to WILD upland bird hunting in the mid-west as Ken & Joy travel through North Dakota, South Dakota & Nebraska on their annual hunting RV road trip.
